Spay/Neuter Clinic
In 2005 the Prairieland Animal Welfare Center made the decision to change from selling spay/neuter vouchers to offering low-cost spay/neuter services to the public at large. This is our way to ensure that everyone regardless of income levels can have the opportunity to obtain professional spay/neuter Services for their animals. As of June 1, 2006 households with income of $37,000.00 or less can quality for free or reduced-fee spay/neuter services. You can download the application for spay/neuter services here. Complete the application and bring it to the PAWC Shelter with proof of income if you wish to apply for free or reduced fee services. We will determine your eligibility and will make the necessary appointments for your animals to have these services. The services will be completed on an appointment-only basis by the doctor of veterinary medicine we contract with to complete these services at our Surgery/Clinic at the Shelter. These is normally about 2 weeks waiting period to schedule an appointment once your application is submitted.
